Full Time – 40 hours per week (7am – 4pm)
4 days in Worcester office, 1 day remote.

Our HR Business Partner will be the strategic partner and supporter to our 300+ team members in our Distribution Centers. This candidate will support management in executing our people initiatives, provide exceptional full cycle HR internal support, drive service excellence and process improvements, mitigate business risk, and advise on employee relations and compliance. Partner with leaders identifying top talent and succession candidates. Help drive business success through a number of different ways. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Provide guidance and coaching to management in the delivery of compensation, benefit and engagement programs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE:
Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, processes and technology.
Possess a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
Manage employee relations and the development of team members and collaborate with manager when needed.
Coach and mentor at management level.
Interview new candidates, collaborate with hiring manager on identifying the ideal candidate, and communicating outcome of interviews to candidates.
Complete full onboarding process, ensuring all required employment and benefits documentation and information are complete and processed efficiently and effectively; including participating in new hire orientation, administering drug testing, running background checks, and other duties as requested.
Assists employees with benefits-related questions and collaborate with Benefits Coordinator.
Conduct internal investigations and collaborate with HR Manager on certain situations.
Assist with companywide events/programs (i.e. Annual Awards Banquet; Holiday Party, Multi-Cultural Day).
Provides backup to other Human Resources staff as needed.
Develop and build on strategic projects/initiatives.
Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.
Travel monthly to our second location in Millis, MA.
Adjust hours to connect with 3rd shift monthly.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
2 – 4 years HR related experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field
PHR, SPHR, CP, or SCP Certification preferred
Project Management and Change Management Skills
Advanced Computer Skills (Microsoft Platforms, UKG HRIS system)
Self-Starter/Self-Motivated
Strong writing and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills
Ability to develop Business Acumen
Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Effective labor law knowledge and skills
Has a keen sense of global and cultural awareness for attracting and retaining a diverse team.
Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
Interface at all levels of the organization.

This job generally operates in a professional flexible office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
This job is expected to make rounds within the Distribution Centers on a daily basis.
May occasionally be required to travel to offer distribution centers and attend offsite job fairs in various locations and settings.
